Rolls-Royce has showcased the Spectre Series II on European public roads for the first time, with the all-electric luxury super-coupé making its appearance in Stockholm, Sweden.

Originally unveiled in June 2026, the updated Spectre introduces significant engineering improvements, including up to 628 kilometres (390 miles) of WLTP range, increased torque and faster charging.

The latest version also brings expanded Bespoke personalisation options, new interior materials and distinctive exterior finishes.

Up to 18% More Range and Faster Charging

According to Rolls-Royce's official announcement on 23 October 2026, the Spectre Series II benefits from revised battery cell technology and improvements to its electric drivetrain.

These changes increase its maximum driving range by up to 18%, reaching 628 km (390 miles) under the WLTP testing cycle.

Rolls-Royce also claims charging times have been reduced by up to 14% compared with the previous version.

Specification Spectre Series II
Maximum power 442 kW (601 PS)
Maximum torque 1,015 Nm
WLTP range 582–628 km
WLTP energy consumption 20.2–21.7 kWh/100 km
Charging time improvement Up to 14%

The official range figures are based on WLTP testing. Real-world results will vary depending on driving conditions, temperature, speed, vehicle specification and driving style.

Black Badge Spectre Series II Delivers 1,100 Nm

The more powerful Black Badge Spectre Series II continues to hold the distinction of being the most powerful Rolls-Royce ever produced.

With Infinity Mode activated, the electric powertrain delivers 500 kW (680 PS).

Meanwhile, Spirited Mode increases maximum torque to an impressive 1,100 Nm.

Despite its additional performance, the Black Badge model offers a claimed WLTP driving range of between 578 and 628 kilometres (359–390 miles).

These figures demonstrate how Rolls-Royce is combining the silent, effortless driving experience associated with the brand with the substantial torque available from electric powertrains.

New Bespoke Paintwork and Interior Materials

Alongside the engineering improvements, the Spectre Series II introduces an expanded range of personalisation options.

One of the most distinctive additions is the new Gradient Two-Tone paint finish, which creates a gradual colour transition from one end of the vehicle to the other.

Rolls-Royce says developing this finish required more than six months of work, while applying it to an individual vehicle can take up to four days.

Inside, the updated Spectre introduces Duality Twill, a bamboo-based textile, alongside Placed Perforation leather upholstery featuring intricate decorative patterns.

The cabin also benefits from new illuminated fascia detailing, additional decorative finishes and a redesigned clock inspired by precision aviation instruments.

New 23-inch forged alloy wheels complete the exterior updates, with each wheel requiring up to six hours of hand-finishing.

Why Was Stockholm Chosen for the European Debut?

The Spectre Series II was originally revealed on 2 June 2026, meaning the Stockholm event was not a new model launch.

Instead, it marked the updated electric coupé's first public appearance on European roads.

Rolls-Royce highlighted the Nordic region's appreciation for design, craftsmanship and luxury, while also confirming the recent opening of a new showroom in Copenhagen, Denmark.

With greater driving range, increased performance and expanded personalisation possibilities, the Spectre Series II represents the next stage in the British luxury manufacturer's electric vehicle development.
