British luxury marque Bentley has returned with a brand-new vision after a decade-long hiatus. The Bentley Torcal has officially broken cover, arriving as the first fruit of a massive £350 million investment into the brand's historic Crewe headquarters.

• It obliterates the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) sprint in a mere 2.9 seconds (0-60 mph in 2.8 seconds).
• Even the standard Torcal puts down 810 bhp (820 PS), dealing with the 0-62 mph dash in just 3.4 seconds.

Underpinned by an 800V architecture (Premium Platform Electric - PPE), the Torcal certainly won't leave you hanging about at the plug.

• The SUV packs a substantial 113 kWh battery.
• It promises up to 375 miles (600 km) of range on a single charge under WLTP testing.
• Thanks to 400 kW DC rapid charging capability, the battery can be topped up from 10% to 80% in a brisk 16 minutes under optimal conditions.

Despite measuring a hefty 5 metres in length, the Torcal retains a distinctly sporting stance. Up front, it commands attention with an illuminated 'floating diamond grille', painstakingly crafted using 76 individual hand-applied LEDs.
